Department of Oncology and Department of Clinical Medicine
Oslo University Hospital (OUS) is the largest hospital in Norway, with activities in four locations. It is a highly specialised hospital in charge of extensive regional, local and national hospital assignments and the provision of high-quality services for a large population. The hospital was awarded the status as a European Comprehensive Cancer Centre (CCC) in 2017. The Department of Oncology at the Cancer Clinic is also accredited as an ESMO Designated Centre of Integrated Oncology & Palliative Care.
The European Palliative Care Research Centre (PRC) is located at the Department of Oncology. PRC is a European research centre consisting of 18 international and 8 national collaborating centres. The centre plans and conducts international multicentre studies within patient-centred care. PRC is hosting the leader, management and coordinators of the MyPath project.
Role within MyPath: OUS/PRC leads the MyPath collaborative as the project coordinator and the leader of WP7. Furthermore, researchers at OUS/PRC also lead WP5 concerning data management, statistical analyses, and quality assurance and have an extensive role in the implementation study (WP4) as well as in the content and structure design of the pathways (WP1).
