MyPath was represented at Medical Informatics Europe 2026 (MIE 2026), held from 25 to 28 May 2026 in Genova, Italy. The conference, organised by the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI), brought together researchers and healthcare professionals working at the interface of technology, data and health care.

Femke Van Landschoot, a PhD researcher from the End-of-Life Care Research Group (Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University) presented MyPath research on “IT Barriers and Enablers to Prepare an Electronic Patient Reported Outcome Measures tool for Installation: A Multi-site Qualitative Study in Nine European Oncology Settings.” The presentation focused on the practical digital health requirements that must be addressed when preparing an electronic Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (ePROMs) tool for implementation across different oncology care settings.

Participation in MIE 2026 provided an important opportunity to share early insights from MyPath with the European medical informatics community, exchange knowledge with digital health experts, and contribute to discussions on how technology can better support patient-centred care.
