MyPath at PRC Seminar 2025: Driving Digital Innovation in Cancer Care

On September 16th-18th, the 14th international seminar of the European Palliative Care Research Centre (PRC) was held in Oslo, Norway. MyPath made a strong contribution to the seminar program through workshops, presentations, stands, posters and stakeholder engagement.

On day 1, MyPath co-hosted a workshop with ESMO for MyPath members, ESMO Designated Centres and external participants, showcasing the digital MyPath solution and its implementation methodology and strategy. The presentations were followed by group discussions, providing valuable insights for the next phase of development and implementation.

Throughout the main seminar, MyPath team members played a central role in the program, shaping the conversation around digitalisation of cancer care and palliative care. Marie Fallon introduced the seminar with a presentation on clinical implementation research. Morena Shkodra presented MyPath as a key example in her talk on the digitalisation of cancer pain assessment. Amaia Urrizola presented a clinical approach on how to embrace digital solutions to support better palliative care, followed by Dag Ausen from DNV Imatis who showcased the development of the digital solution of MyPath. Marek Atter held a presentation on the cost-effectiveness analysis in MyPath, and Elias Lundereng concluded the seminar by sharing findings from qualitative interviews with stakeholders, conducted as part of MyPath’s pre-implementation research.

These contributions to the PRC seminar reflect MyPath’s commitment to advancing and implementing patient-centred, digitally supported cancer care across Europe.
